Nokia N95 has received "the European Media Phone of the Year 2007-2008" award. N95 was voted as the Media Phone of the Year by European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), one of Europe's leading association for consumer electronics.
I like the N95 (not technically, I am not a tech guy) because it comes with features like GPS, 5 mega pixel camera, MPEG4 video capture @ 30fps, Carl Zeiss Optics, web browser with 3.5 Mbps speed, Wi-Fi, microSD slot, and multiple audio format support.
This phone has all the possible features a mobile phone can carry and it has become like a benchmark for other converged mobile devices.
This is what Jonas Geust, Head of Nokia Nseries Players Category, Multimedia said," This award is an endorsement of the strategy behind Nokia Nseries - to bring to people's hands high performance multimedia computers, which make digital convergence a reality."
I am really waiting to see, which device can match the features and experience of the N95 [ I have ruled out iPhone ;- )].
I am sure, the N95 getting this award, would have not come as a surprise to people around the world....the phone truly deserves this award...at least I am of this opinion.
