Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Recently our Television News Media has turned in to a different category of experts called “ The Capitalizing Experts”. They capitalize on every small or big incident that happens in our country or around this world.

These incidents can vary from rape, murder, suicide, scam, heist, adultery, normal death, bribery and what not.

They successfully implement strategies (Weapons of Mass Deception), which I have tried to describe in my own way….

Expert Interviews - The people who are called “Experts” in these interviews are so fu***d up that they don’t have any right to comment on other people/incidents, yet they end up giving their opinion, which is so pathetic that if it is implemented the situation would become more worse. (These interviews I enjoy the most)

Graphic Analysis - Cheap graphics being used to show what has happened, what is going to happen and what will happen, coupled with an Expert (the person who is described above) analysis. Sometimes I think that the graphic artist is also an astrologer who can predict the future with the help of cheap graphics.

SMS Poll - This is a very common gimmick used by a News Channel; the questions, which are asked, are well framed as if their answers will change the fate of the victim. It only changes the fate of the News Channel and Mobile Service Providers, for good.

Interviews – Here some reporters from the news channel go and take interviews of people who are part of a news, the reporters ask them such silly questions that you wonder, is it some serious reporting or just another version of MTV Bakra.

One interview question, which is my favorite (this was asked to a politician’s daughter after her father’s death), “ So Ms. Xyz, how are you feeling after the sudden demise of your father, are you feeling sad?”, this is one of the most idiotic question I have heard in my whole life.

One funny thing that often happens with these news channels, they always end up getting some confidential information about an incident from nowhere. This information is flashed as “Breaking News”…throughout the day and when asked about the sources they all have one answer, “ We cannot tell you, but believe us “Yeh hamare vishwasniya sutron se pata chala hai ki…”.

And all this is crammed up with advertisements, SMS polls and news flashes.

Apart from all these funny things happening in the media, there are some news channels, which believe in serious reporting.
